Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Lead and co-ordinate finance and accounting related activities and projects across APR with a view to optimize financial performance
  • Responsible for rolling forecast and budgeting process for President’s office & Global Services (GS) – APR
  • Responsible for Financial reporting to track monthly performance incl analysis of burn rate for end year estimates and make proactive recommendation, present consolidated Report to GS head and Regional President, KPIs and other financial info and analysis
  • Support in coordinating issues between vendors and APR Regional Finance Managers (RFM’s)
  • Lead the designing of regional reports to support Regional Management Team’s (RMT) need for financial transparency according to continuous changing business needs and organization structures
  • Coordinate and ensure that timely and value adding business analysis is rendered to segments and regional Presidents office as required
  • Ensure Transfer pricing coordination with Corporate transfer pricing team to achieve country EBIT targets on a stable manner without ad-hoc debit or credit notes
  • Ensure SOX (Lek – IMPERO – internal compliance) and Compliance deck processes are meticulously adhered to
  • Co-approve payroll for all entities in the region and act as back-up approver for non-payroll payments & Ensure payroll processes are adhered to with proper SOD and authorizations
  • Train and develop finance staff and GS GMs to improve efficiency and capability to cope with the dynamic demands from the changing business environment
  • Initiate or drive improvement projects assigned to drive process alignment, best practice and compliance across APR region
  • Set up segment recharging model with close coordination with Transfer Pricing (TP) team, Segment Finance and GS to ensure TP compliance for APR region
  • Compute Indent Commission for APR region
  • Render support to Finance staff and GS GMs on Statutory and Tax Compliance matters, including but not limited to Tax Audit, VAT / GST compliance, Deferred Tax etc

    • Bachelor or Master degree in finance accounting or business management related
    • Extensive knowledge of accounting and finance areas
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, High IT literacy (hereunder SAP and HFM)Strong financial background in managing finance and controlling area
    • Fair knowledge of general tax principles, practices and requirements, able to engage at a professional level with tax advisers
    • Multi-national company experience preferably in an Asia Pacific context, ideally at least 10 years work experience
