The candidate can have 10+ years of experience post CA and should have led a team handling various verticals in finance – compliance, parables, receivables, order processing, consolidation activities. Knowledge of Tally is required and Hyperion would be an added advantage.

1. Strong accounting background with in-depth knowledge of the relevant accounting standards
2. Ability to churn out business plans and comfortable with spreadsheet business cases – crunch numbers and assess financial viability of the new business verticals
3. Keen sense of business – ability to understand different businesses and eager to engage with business
4. Strong controls background (prev. work ex in internal controls would help) – strong focus on processes, authority matrix and ability to operate in non SAP environment
5. Working capital management – strong focus on receivables and payables, recos with vendor and dealers
6. Monthly closing and MIS – rigor to close books at the earliest; put in place system of cut-off dates and prepare MIS for management
7. Budgeting and forecasting – strong analytical skills for budgeting exercise
8. Strong application of Income Tax, GST and other various regulations – ensure compliance and timely payments
9. Management of key stakeholders – Board of directors
